Effluent Treatment Plant

Primary & biological treatment

Screening, equalisation, chemical and biological treatment that brings raw process effluent down to a load the rest of the plant can handle.

Reverse Osmosis

Water recovery

Membrane separation that returns permeate clean enough to go straight back into the process, and concentrates the salt load into a much smaller reject stream.

Multiple Effect Evaporator

Reject concentration

Steam economy across several effects boils the RO reject down to a concentrated liquor, with condensate recovered back as usable water.

ATFD

Agitated Thin Film Dryer

Salt recovery & drying

The last wet step. Concentrated liquor is spread as a thin film against a heated wall and dried to a handleable solid, closing the loop on liquid discharge.

Sludge dewatering

Continuous dewatering that pulls water out of ETP sludge and cuts what you pay to haul away, running automatic or semi-automatic.
